Stroke patients with COVID fared worse than noninfected patients

People who had strokes and COVID had worse outcomes than those who were COVID-free, according to research from early in the pandemic. Navreet Kaur, MD, explains how the research, which appear in the journal Neurology, was done and what it means. Kaur is completing her fourth year of residency training in neurology at Upstate.
