2. Prepare your personal statement of interest that addresses why you are interested in this field, ensuring that it aligns with the mentor's research focus, and what you hope to gain from the experience
3. Update your CV, describing your relevant achievements and experiences
4. Send a professional email to your prospective 教师 of your choice with your CV and statement. Politely ask to make an appointment to discuss the prospect of doing research with them.
