Your healthcare team at Upstate Medical University has designed this patient education website to serve as a resource for patients, caregivers, and families who want to learn about heart failure. Heart failure is an illness that can be managed with medications and close self-care.

Watch the videos to learn about heart failure and talk with your doctor and nurses about your heart failure and treatments. It is important to understand your illness and how to care for yourself at home. Treatments can include many medications and surgery.
